The federal judge in Minnesota has approved the settlement plan with more than 22.000 former players have until August.  Madden 24 coins 30 to either accept the settlement or opt out of the agreement. Dryer is urging his fellow players not to accept the settlement offer.

"They're forcing you to participate in an economic model that is tied to the league to make money for former athletes," Dryer explained. "But these models have proved not to work."

The plaintiffs are also unhappy with what they believe to be an absence of transparency in the settlement, and also the way it will work.

"We aren't sure the process of coming to come up with the $50 million figure," Dryer said. "The money is put into an account, and the fund provides it with pre-existing charities, and then the charity, in a miraculous way, attempts to distribute the money to players. I do not want to be involved in a field I'm not sure about.

"What does work is to get money direct to players who have retired. This is exactly what we're looking for. We'd like to know what the source of revenue is in order to reach a settlement for all players who have retired.

"I'm leaving. I don't want anything to do with this contract."
